Sukkot Harvest Festival 2024

Sunday, October 20 @ 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

When it comes to celebrating the earth, ancient Jewish tradition recommends we do it together. Coastal Roots Farm invites you to celebrate with us at our 12th annual Sukkot Harvest Festival, our biggest event of the year!

This intergenerational event features live music, local food, hands-on workshops, and engaging activities for all ages as we celebrate the bounty of our Farm and the spirit of our diverse community. With renewed purpose and possibility for a promising New Year, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join us.

Sunday, October 20th
12pm-4pm
Suggested donation: $20/adult; $10/child

Festival highlights include:

  • Sukkot cooking and learning: Learn how to make lavender cream cheese stuffed figs and butternut squash kugel.
  • Cover Crop Sowing: Help regenerate our soil. This is an essential part of our growing operations. Get your hands dirty and your heart happy!
  • Three Sisters Workshop: Join representatives of the Red Earth Movement as they share knowledge of the harvest seasons, Indigenous teachings about the "three sisters", and the joy of the bounty.
  • Sukkot Themed Yoga led by Hannah Prager. All levels welcome.
  • Jewish Meditation led by Craig Parks. Perfect for beginners and those who practice regularly.
  • Educational activities: Make your own tea bag from herbs, plant a seed in a pot, and more.
  • Live music by Coral Bells.
  • Local food and libations (21+) for purchase.
