PUBLIC FARM TOURS (currently unavailable)
Second Sunday of every month, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Enter at 441 Saxony Road, Encinitas. Meet at the Farm Green picnic tables.
We offer a 90 minute public tour of our Farm on the second Sunday of the month. Join us to learn about our impact in Regenerative Agriculture, Organic Food Distribution, Equitable Environmental Education, and Jewish Life. See first-hand our innovative practices and programs and visit our organic production beds, hand-dug Education Farm and Gardens, Food Forest, compost operation, and chickens.
Open to all ages. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.
Public Farm Tours operate on a pay-what-you-can basis with a suggested donation of $18 per person. Your donation supports us in continuing to make our impact, including donating the majority of our harvest to food insecure communities in San Diego and providing scholarships for low-income, Title-I, and Title-V schools to ensure all students in San Diego County have access to hands-on farm-based environmental education.

Personalized Private Farm Tours are available for groups up to 10 people with 60 or 90 minute options. Join us to learn about our impact in Regenerative Agriculture, Organic Food Distribution, Equitable Environmental Education, and Jewish Life. See first-hand our innovative practices and programs and visit our organic production beds, hand-dug Education Farm and Gardens, Food Forest, compost operation, and chickens.

The Private Farm Tour fee is $180. Your donation supports us in continuing to make our impact, including donating the majority of our harvest to food insecure communities in San Diego and providing scholarships for low-income, Title-I, and Title-V schools to ensure all students in San Diego County have access to hands-on farm-based environmental education. Payment may be made through our online invoice system.
Refund policy:
- A full refund is available for cancellation up to 2 weeks before the scheduled Farm Tour and/or if Coastal Roots Farm needs to cancel due to updated COVID-19 regulations.
- A 50% refund is available for cancellation within 2 weeks of scheduled Farm Tour. Alternatively, your Farm Tour can be rescheduled pending availability.
