Join Coastal Roots Farm and guest teacher Rabbi Susan Freeman, Director of Spiritual Life at Jewish Family Services for an embodied exploration of the Psalms. In this four-part, interactive series, we will draw on qigong to experience the elements of water, wood, fire, earth, and metal in our bodies while connecting more deeply to the imagery and inspiration found in the ancient Book of Psalms.
Through gentle movement and mindful breathing, qigong enhances physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. The interconnectedness of all life is a theme woven throughout Psalms and we will let it inspire us as we connect more deeply with each other, Jewish tradition, and ourselves.
NOTE: No need to identify as Jewish to thoroughly enjoy. We welcome all to come and learn with us. Limited scholarships are available for anyone needing financial assistance.
