If it is raining, it will be moved indoors!
In preparation for spring and the upcoming Jewish holiday of Passover, join Coastal Roots Farm and Limmud North America for a day of community artmaking and creative exploration surrounding the central theme of rebirth. Each participant will get to participate in two tracks, choosing from creative writing. photography, theater/movement, music, and visual art.
Five fantastic teaching artists from across the U.S. will guide you in your tracks. Even if you consider yourself "uncreative," we want you here! No prior experience is necessary, only the desire to play with something new. We will take care of the rest.
This program is mostly geared toward adults; kids ages 14+ also welcome. Two of the tracks will be particularly family-friendly.

FAQs
Upon registration, you will notice the five art choices under each of the tracks. Be sure to have a 1st and 2nd choice option in case a session is full.
We are limiting the class-size according to the request given by teaching artists.
After a bit of instruction from your teaching artist, you will be guided to respond creatively to the theme of rebirth through the particular medium you're working with. So, the choir track will sing together; the creative writers will work on a piece of writing, and the theater people will create small moments of performance.
You may be invited to share your work in progress with the group, and you may choose to do so. Our hope is that, overall, you will have a joyful time experimenting with a new skill set and flexing your creative muscles.
Absolutely! All are welcome, and we wish for you to respond authentically and creatively from your own life-experience.
Nope! We will provide you with everything you need. But if there’s something special you’d like to bring with you just in case -- whether it's an instrument, a sketch pad or a pair of tap shoes – go for it. We welcome your full creative self.
There will not be separate child-care. If you bring your child, they must stay with you at all times.
It covers the staff cost of running this event, plus security and the food for the party.
Please don’t let cost prove a barrier. Let us know and we’ll be happy to help you attend.
