At Coastal Roots Farm, we rely on volunteers and strive to provide meaningful and fun volunteer opportunities for our community.
Volunteering Opportunities:
Great for families (participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Seasonal Farm activities to help maintain our education farm and garden. Tasks may include: weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting, and bed prep.
10 person maximum.
Open to all ages (participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Seasonal farm activities to support our Production Team in vegetable fields and Food Forest. Tasks include: weeding, mulching, planting, harvesting, and bed prep.
10 person maximum.
Waivers and pre-registration are required. Waivers for volunteers under 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian and participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

What to bring: Please bring a refillable water bottle and a sunhat. Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend long sleeves and pants, gardening gloves optional.
Directions: Enter off of 441 Saxony Rd, and park in the Apple Lot. All Community Volunteering will meet at the Coastal Roots Farm Barn. Please try and arrive promptly, as instructions and tasks for volunteering with be given at the beginning of the volunteer day!
