BIRTHDAYS PARTIES
Celebrate your child’s birthday at Coastal Roots Farm!
Party Details:
- Birthday Parties can be scheduled Sundays at 10:00am or 2:00pm
- All parties include free time play in one of our outdoor spaces. Review the packages for add-ons and activities.
- Package birthday party activities are seasonal and may include harvesting in the garden, art, or basic gardening!
- Birthday Parties are available for children 1-10 years old
- Birthday parties can take place on the Farm Green or in the Coastal Kitchen, space availability may vary.
- Picnic tables and shaded areas are available in either space.
- Hosts are provided with one reserved parking spot, as well as 30 minutes before and after the party for set-up and clean-up.

Enjoy unstructured play time at one of our outdoor learning spaces!
$200 up to 15 children
$250 between 16-25 children
$300 between 26-35 children
Enjoy free play in one of the Farm's outdoor learning spaces, as well as two seasonal Farm activities led by our Outdoor Educators.
$360 up to 15 children
$480 between 16-25 children
$600 between 26-35 children
Enjoy free play in one of the Farm's outdoor learning spaced, as well as two premium seasonal Farm activities led by our Outdoor Educators. Examples of premium activities include more robust harvest snack or art project.
$400 up to 15 children
$520 between 16-25 children
$640 between 26-35 children
Booking
Birthday Party inquiries are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once availability is confirmed, a $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the scheduled party.
- Please note: The $100 deposit will be applied to the final birthday party balance.
- Birthday Party inquiries must be made at least one month in advance.
Cancellation Policy
Farm-initiated cancellations: If birthday party cancellations are initiated by Coastal Roots Farm for any reason including weather, hosts will be fully refunded.
Weather-related cancellations: Weather related cancellations initiated by the party host 4 or more days prior to the event are subject to a 10% processing fee. Alternatively, birthday parties may be rescheduled within 12 months with no additional fees.
All other cancellations: Other cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event may be refunded less the deposit. Cancellations made within two weeks of the event are ineligible for a refund. Alternatively, birthday parties may be rescheduled within 12 months with no additional fees.
Everything you need to know:
9:30am: Birthday party hosts arrive! Set-up can be supported by one of our outdoor educators if needed.
10:00am: Guests begin arriving, and free play space is available.
10:30am: Farm educators gather guests for guided activities (available with the Farmer in Training or Farm Expert package).
11:15am: Guests gather for cake and food (provided by party hosts! Be sure to review Farm policies regarding food brought onsite).
12:00pm: Guests leave, hosts begin clean-up with support from Farm staff if needed.
12:30pm: Goodbye!
Coastal Roots Farm staff members are responsible for providing a fun, safe and enjoyable birthday party experience, however, birthday party hosts are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Adult party guests must always remain with their children on the Farm.
The birthday party host is responsible for providing all food and beverages. All food must be vegetarian, vegan, or pescatarian. If you are working with a catering company or food vendor, please note it in your request form.
Alcohol is not permitted at birthday parties without prior approval and without providing additional insurance documentation. If you are interested in discussing this process, please note it in your request form.
The birthday party host is responsible for bringing all utensils, dishware, cups, candles, matches/lighters and any necessary serving ware. The birthday party host is also responsible for providing all party decorations. Coastal Roots Farm encourages eco-friendly and reusable party decorations when possible.
Balloons, glitter and confetti are not permitted at the Farm at any time. The use of balloons, glitter and/or confetti will result in an additional clean-up fee.
Only service animals are allowed on the Coastal Roots Farm property. Please do not bring any pets to the facility. We will ask you or your guests to take them home. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.
