Monthly Dayenu Advocacy Circle
Join us at Coastal Roots Farm for our monthly Dayenu Circle, a new environmental advocacy group rooted in Jewish values and hope-filled action. Director of Jewish Life Rebecca Joy Fletcher spearheads the project together with empowered, action-oriented volunteers in leadership roles.
Why Make Polluters Pay?
Californians urgently need their government to pass a Climate Superfund bill to raise revenue and ensure there are enough resources to respond to climate catastrophes, protect workers, build resilient neighborhoods and prepare for the future.
What is Dayenu?
Dayenu is a national Jewish movement responding to the climate crisis with hope, action, and community. Local Dayenu Circles bring people together to learn, connect, and take meaningful steps toward a more just and sustainable future. You don’t need to identify as Jewish to participate—everyone is welcome.
What are we fighting for?
Together with Dayenu Circles across the US, we are fighting to pass an important and winnable CA initiative: the CA Climate Superfund Bill (SB 684/AB 1243), or "Make Polluters Pay." The Polluters Pay Superfund Bill will make the Big Oil and Gas companies that have made trillions in profits in California pay their fair share when climate emergencies strike our state.
