Experience Film, Music, and Meaningful Conversation on the Farm
Join us on the Farm for an evening of community, live music, and transformative storytelling.
This screening will feature the film "Rock Faced It All," and "What the Hands Do."
Rock Faced It All
When Teresa Bennett was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, she never imagined that a year later, she’d be scaling 60-foot walls with the grace and determination of a seasoned climber. With the knowledge that exercise helps improve symptoms, Bennett has been integral to the expansion of Up Ending Parkinson’s, a nonprofit that provides guided rock climbing for people with Parkinson’s. Bennett transforms her battle with the disease into strength and endurance. Featured in the 2026 Mountainfilm Festival.
What the Hands Do
Mariana Mendoza and Miguel Casar are attracted to proud, challenging boulders and approach the sport with passion and dedication. At the same time, they believe that climbing hard is not the only thing that matters. As lifelong social justice advocates, they ask: How can we use climbing to cultivate joy and connection in our communities? Can climbing create opportunities for meaningful growth? How can we use climbing to shape the world we want to see?
