Taylor Martin-Funk is a Carlsbad-based chef rooted in coastal comfort food and season-driven cooking, bringing a “land meets sea” approach to every plate. His work spans open-fire cooking, intimate private dinners, and full-scale catered weddings and events, all grounded in a deep respect for ingredients and place.
With nearly two decades of experience across restaurants and private dining, Taylor is driven by a genuine passion for hospitality. Creating experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and effortless. At the core of his work is a commitment to building community, fostering lasting relationships, and creating spaces where guests feel well-fed, cared for, and truly connected.
