Jewish Studio Project at Coastal Roots Farm
Join us for a guided experience with the Jewish Studio Process—an approach that combines Jewish learning, creative exploration, and personal reflection. Through text, conversation, and hands-on materials, we’ll open to a deeper encounter with beauty: not just how things appear, but how they move us, stir us, call us closer to what matters.
No artistic experience is needed—just a spirit of curiosity and a willingness to play.
Facilitated by Suzanne Bates
Whether you’re longing for connection, spiritual nourishment, or simply a moment to pause and take in the world around you, this session is an invitation to create something new—together.
Like gratitude, the energy of beauty can enrich our lives and expand our capacity for joy, wonder, and meaning.

Jewish Studio Project (JSP) is a growing movement rooted in the belief that we are all inherently creative. In a world that’s changing rapidly, JSP nurtures our creative capacity as a powerful way to respond—with courage, connection, and imagination.
With established studios in Berkeley and Los Angeles, and a new one in Boston, JSP is weaving creative practice into the fabric of Jewish communal life—and now, it’s coming to San Diego County.
